Albert Herring
Benjamin Britten

On the 17th of December 2010 the opera premiered at the Kees van Baarenzaal in The Hague. This opera was produced by the Dutch National Opera Academy and conducted by Jonathan Berman and in the direction of Alexander Oliver.
For this production I designed set and costume. The design was based on the Arts and Craft movement.

This production was priced as one of the top ten opera productions in this Dutch opera season.
(Mark Duijnstee, Opera Nederland)

In 2001 there was a previous production of this opera at DNOA also in collaboration with director Alexander Oliver, but with Paul McCreesh as conductor.
For this production I also designed the set and costumes.
